We went on a road trip to return my colleague‘s company car to the Czech‘s office. It’s a 2000km journey over 3 days!
同僚と車でドイツとチェコを爆走。そんな男旅の記録です。
There are a lot of windmills because of the eco-friendly Innovative German ecological policy. We briefly stopped at Lutherstadt Eisleben where Luther was born and Erfurt University where Luther graduated.
Then we enjoyed gourmet German lunch at the Elephant Hotel in Weimar. We sampled a great Chardonnay there. This hotel is famous for hosting Goeth and Luther in the 18th Century. Of course we visited Goeth‘s house and the beautiful Weimar‘s library.
Next destination was Bamburg which is called “a pearl of Bayern”. The small traditional town has preserved the mid-century looks and airs. Everyone seemed very happy in this mysterious town.
We moved to Regensburg, close to the Czech border town as the last stop on day one. Next morning we set off for Częsky Krumlov. It is an attractive town surrounded by valleys and rivers. Finally we reached Brno in Czech Republic and returned his car to a nice corporate secretary who checked the car condition very carefully in the afternoon on day two.
We travelled to Wien by train and enjoyed fantastic Sekt, Austrian sparkling wine. Next day we went back to Hannover by train the journey took 8 hours.
By the way, why have we traveled to so many places?
Because my crazy colleague wants to cover all the world heritage sites on the way to the Czech Republic. Sometimes we just need to take the chance like this and go on these crazy busy trips, we saw so much in such a short time it all seems like a blur. I’m really glad I made this film so I can remember the trip!
